By using Shift Report ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use this app.

This app is intended for parents or guardians managing player information, not for direct use by children.

2. Use of the App

You may use the app to:

• Track games and player performance
• Store and manage team and player data

You agree not to:

• Use the app for illegal or unauthorized purposes
• Upload content that is harmful, abusive, defamatory, or violates the rights of others
• Upload content you do not have permission to use
• Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, interfere with, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Authentication is handled securely through a third-party provider.

You agree to notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create, including:

• Player data
• Game statistics
• Notes
• Photos and videos you upload

You grant Shift Report a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, transmit, and display this content solely for the purpose of operating, maintaining, improving, and providing the app's services.

You are solely responsible for the content you upload and represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload such content.

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Shift Report offers optional paid subscriptions ("Shift Report Pro") through Apple's App Store.

By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the following:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.
• Subscription pricing and available plans may change from time to time.
• Any pricing changes will apply only to future subscription periods.

Subscriptions may be managed or canceled through your Apple ID account settings.

6. Refunds

All subscription purchases are processed by Apple.

Shift Report does not issue refunds directly.

Refund requests must be submitted through Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies.

7. Founding Member Program

Shift Report may offer a limited Founding Member program that grants complimentary access to premium features.

Founding Member benefits:

• Are offered at our discretion.
• May be limited in quantity.
• May not be transferred, sold, or assigned.
• May be modified or discontinued for future users.

Existing Founding Members will continue to receive any benefits explicitly promised at the time of enrollment unless otherwise required by law.

8. Third-Party Services

The app relies on third-party services including hosting, analytics, notifications, authentication, media storage, and subscription management services.

These providers operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the performance, availability, security, or policies of third-party services.

9. Availability and Changes

We do not guarantee:

• Continuous or uninterrupted access
• Error-free operation
• Availability of any specific feature

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, remove, or discontinue features, content, or functionality at any time.

10. Changes to Subscription Features

We may modify, add, remove, or discontinue subscription features and benefits from time to time.

Reasonable efforts will be made to notify users of material changes affecting active subscribers.

11. Data and Backups

While we take reasonable steps to protect user data, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups when appropriate.

We are not responsible for loss of:

• Game statistics
• Notes
• Photos or videos
• Team or player information
• Other user-generated content

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Misuse or abuse the app
• Engage in conduct that threatens the security or operation of the service

You may delete your account at any time.

Upon termination:

• Access to the app may be revoked immediately.
• Data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Outstanding subscription obligations remain subject to Apple's billing policies.

13. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, branding, software, features, content, and functionality (excluding user content), is owned by Shift Report and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy
• Reproduce
• Modify
• Distribute
• Sell
• License
• Reverse engineer

any portion of the app without prior written permission.

14. Disclaimer

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shift Report disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and accuracy.

We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
• Statistics or reports generated by the app will be complete or accurate.
• Notifications will always be delivered or received.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shift Report and its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Loss of business opportunities
• Missed notifications or reminders
• Service interruptions
• Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages

arising from or related to your use of the app.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Shift Report during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shift Report and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the app
• Your content
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted within the app and/or on our website.

Continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
